The four questions we get.
What counts as an "actively tracked" contract?
Every contract you have uploaded for clause extraction and monitoring on Pactloom. There is no separate archive status — Tier 2 will let you track 50 agreements, not 50 minus deleted.
Can I upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2 later?
Yes. Inside the app, open Settings → Billing → Upgrade. The same Stripe checkout flow applies and the new monthly anchor starts immediately.
What happens if a counterparty cancels?
Cancelled subscriptions keep access through the paid period. The next renewal is what flips the cap back — if you cancel entirely, the existing contracts stay in the system but new uploads are blocked until you resubscribe.
Is there a free trial or annual discount?
Not for the launch tier. Stripe handles the monthly billing; the platform fee is a per-invoice deduction paid out of the $89 / $149 monthly anchor.
